I’ve been busy migrating my old blog to this website today…not a bad way to spend a wet and cold Saturday!

Over the next month or so I will be getting the rest of the site set up. There will be two sections to it:

Accounting services (under the banner of Account Tech Solutions)…

Account Tech Solutions

….and Finance services (Account Tech Finance Solutions).

Account Tech Logo

I will also be putting together a regular newsletter for my subscribers, so take a minute to complete the signup on the top of this page!

    Hi Meredith :-)

New blog is shaping up nicely :-)

    With a ‘customer’ viewpoint, I’m wondering about the 2 logos/business titles…

There seems to be a very fine line of distinction between the 2 from my point of view.

Not knowing the rationale behind this separation, I’ll trust that you have your good reasons…

Suggestion: Instead of Account Tech Solutions, have you considered Account Tech Accounting Solutions? I know it’s a bit of a double-entendre, but it clarifies the separation for me.

As a ‘non-financial’ person, the 2 names do not provide much distinction for me.

Re: The Logos – I’m just a wanka for thematic consistency, so like the abovementioned this is just an opinion:

What about the same font, same colours for both logos? The Account Tech Solutions could use 3 of the 4 colours (unless the name is changed). If 4 colours are used, just rotate their location a quarter or half circle.

I think this would provide better branding consistency as well, visually connecting the 2 entities.

Just my 2 bobs worth :-P

Thanks for your feedback Stephen :)

A bit of background here, the original ATS business name has been a trading name of mine for many years now, whereas the AT(Finance)s brand was only set up in the last year or two. They are actually both standalone businesses with a separate client base and identity, and this website will be basically split in two to focus on each individually – the entry page will just have a portal to each. The blog will serve both, as it gives us a broader range of material to write about, and will be of interest to both business’ clients. This may well change down the track though, just playing it by ear at the moment.

Good call Meredith…that makes sense…It’s not unlike what I’ve done with my new blog..it’s kinda 2 in one…but I only have one business entity.

I’m confident that with the great experience that both you and Matt have and your fine personal touch, that this will go really well.

    Cheers
